Spring Closet Refresh Featuring Boston Store + Goodwill Sale

Spring is finally here!! (I smiled from ear-to-ear when I typed that!) In Wisconsin, that means that temperatures start rising and beautiful pastel colors and new trends are readily found in our wardrobes! Today, I’m sharing my spring closet refresh experience partnering with Boston Store and Goodwill! 

Many of you are familiar with the Goodwill Sale, but let me share some great facts behind Goodwill^® and the semi-annual Sale!

• For 23 years, the Boston Store Goodwill Sale has been giving shoppers the opportunity to have a positive impact on their communities by donating clothing and household textiles to Goodwill at their local Boston Store.
• Company-wide, the goal is to collect over two million pounds of donations, which would provide ~275,000 hours of job training services to benefit Goodwill’s job placement and training programs! 
• Donations will be sold at Goodwill stores within the communities in which they are collected. The donations are vital to helping Goodwill provide the services people need to find jobs and care for their families. 
• Just ONE bag of clothes creates one hour of on-the-job training for someone who needs employment assistance! 

As you can see, this is such a great partnership – and I was pleased to participate! So, the first thing I did was run to my closet and grabbed items that were gently used to bring to my local Boston Store!

As you can see, I had a wonderful experience participating in the Boston Store Goodwill Sale event! I hope you do as well! Here’s how you can participate: 

Bring your donation (clothing such as apparel, outwear, shoes, handbags, accessories, and soft home goods) to the Goodwill drop off at your local Boston Store from Wednesday, March 15 – Saturday, April 1. For each donated item, you will receive Goodwill Sale coupons, up to 30% off (which are valid the duration of the sale)! 

If you don’t have any items to donate, you can donate $1 to Goodwill at any register and receive a Goodwill Sale coupon. 100% of the $1 donation benefits programs at Goodwill. 

The Goodwill Sale is such a great time to refresh your wardrobe and home while getting great deals on new spring trends!
