Sophie & Ollie’s New Favorite Treats: Milk-Bone Long-Lasting Chews!

As a doggy mom and dad, we are constantly looking for new treats and toys to keep our pups happy and feeling rewarded for their good behavior! 

While browsing the pet aisle in Meijer the other day, we came across some new Milk-Bone® treats! Our dogs have always loved Milk-Bone® and since they’ve been around since 1908, I tend to trust their brand as well! I honestly don’t think there has been a single Milk-Bone® treat that they don’t love! It’s always a good choice!

The new treats on the shelves were called: Milk-Bone® Wonder Bones & Milk-Bone® GnawBones. They immediately caught our eye, as they were a bit different than other treats we’ve seen before. With the way they were structured we could tell they would be pretty long-lasting for our heavy-chewers! We also loved how the shape is different from the everyday  treats that we give them. It’s nice to give them some variety!

At home, our dogs immediately met us at the door and started sniffing our shopping bags, knowing, without a doubt, that a special surprise was to come! After a quick trip outside, they were surprised with the “Milk-Bone® GnawBones Knotted Bone Chicken in the small/medium size.”

Of course, our excited pups took one gnaw and absolutely loved their new long-lasting treats! These Milk-Bone® Gnaw Bones are 100% rawhide free, and have NO artificial flavors or by-product meal. Made with delicious, real chicken, and wrapped with real meat, GnawBones are easy on the digestive system and the continuous chewing action helps clean our pups teeth! We also love that there are two unique shapes: twisted bone & classic knotted bone. It definitely helps give Sophie & Ollie some fun variety in their treats!

The other long-lasting chew: Milk-Bone® Wonder Bones Chicken/Beef Paw Rockers in small/medium, was given to them the next day. Immediately, Sophie laid down and grabbed it with her paws and held it steady as she started chewing on it. Ollie was a little bit skeptical and had to watch his sister navigate this differently shaped treat for a few moments before he laid down and tried  it for himself. After that first bite at it – he was in love with this paw-able fun! 

With the Milk-Bone® Wonder Bones, we really like that their unique shape rocks & wobbles to keep your pup mentally stimulated, plus it’s easy on the digestive system, and it’s made with USA Raised Chicken without artificial flavors or meat by-product! Definitely a great treat if you ask me (and Sophie & Ollie agree)! 

I’m not going to lie, the two bags of each type of treat that we purchased were gone within a week! lol. The dogs were extra obedient and after they felt they performed a task well, they went and sat by the counter where we had these treats sitting! It was super cute! To me, that means that these are definitely going to be a go-to treat for them!
