We’re already halfway through the first full week of 2016!  I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been wary of “New Year’s Resolutions.” To me, I feel like you can make goals any time of year and have great success! With that being said, my first goal of the year is to focus on things that lower stress – you know, the little things in life that make me happy! Isn’t that what life is all about? =)

Speaking of the little things, the weather has been SO cold lately, that I just couldn’t get myself to take photos outside! lol. Instead, I decided that we’d take photos in my home office.  This is definitely more than just a “little thing” but it’s such a blessing to have a warm home that I can get cozy in with my little family. And p.s. how lucky am I that my husband was overly willing to go outside and take photos if I decided to brave the cold?! =)

Well…on to the outfit of the day, I suppose! =) I went shopping with my cousin (who is visiting from the south) the other day and we both saw this dress at the exact time and thought it was adorable! It’s so versatile that I’ll be able to dress it up for work and also style it casually like I did above.  And the boots are completely her pick as well! She’s got great taste, right?!  They are so comfy and so unique! Such a great addition to both of our wardrobe’s! We’ll definitely make some time to catch up and shop more before she leaves! =)
