This year my husband, Kevin, and I celebrated our TWO year wedding anniversary! We’ve accomplished so much (personally & professionally) in that time and have also fallen even more in love than we thought possible. When we’re together, time seems to stand still. It doesn’t matter if we are just cuddling, taking a walk together, having a long conversation, making dinner together or just relaxing, we love spending time together. So when Jord reached out to me to review their beautiful wood watches, I was happy to oblige and share a watch with my husband as well!
Jord is Swedish for earth, land, and soil. This is quite fitting as these watches are sustainable, efficient, simple and beautiful. The watch I chose was the Fieldcrest Series in Maple!
Kevin decided on the Sully Series – Black & Maple! It suites him so well! Do you see the pretty maple boxes these watches come in? I love how natural everything is!
At first I was a bit nervous that these watches would feel odd on my wrist or not match my style. But quickly I found that wasn’t the case. The high-quality wood actually feels better on my wrist than the traditional metal watchband! And although I personally wouldn’t wear it with a very dressy outfit, I’ve found I can wear it with almost all of my casual outfits! It pairs wonderfully with most of my bracelets as well! Kevin has worn his watch with business casual attire along with more athletic attire. His style of watch can almost be worn with every type of outfit he wears! Talk about versatile! Both of us love our watches and are so happy that we tried something new! We can honestly say that we highly recommend Jord watches. They surpassed all our expectations! =)

In the pictures above, I was wearing this gorgeous custom cuff from Knox Thomas Designs on Etsy! Isn’t it just so fun?! And it’s SUPER special to me…on the outside it has my and my hubby’s initials and on the inside our wedding date (05.11.13) is hand stamped! This piece is one of my favorites and I’ve been wearing it on a daily basis, lately!
I couldn’t help myself but take some pictures of this piece with some pretty blooms as a background! For only $26 (1/4″ wide, hand-stamped on both outside & inside) – It’s definitely a steal! And a lovely one at that! <3
Overall, Kevin and I couldn’t be more thrilled for our matching watches and I’m simply loving my custom gold cuff. If you have a chance, definitely check out Jord Watches + Thomas Knox Designs collections! You won’t be disappointed! =)
