Semi-casual, yet chic, Valentine's date outfit inspiration

Valentine’s day has always been a favorite holiday of mine! I love the flowers, chocolates, dinner dates with my special someone, homemade desserts, and spending time with the people I love! This year, Kevin and I are celebrating Valentine’s day for the whole weekend!

This morning he surprised me everywhere I went! I woke up and found a long stemmed rose & a romantic v-day card on my nightstand. In the hallway, I found a huge bouquet of roses & hydrangeas! When I got to my car, I found that he got a car wash and also put a funny v-day card on my steering wheel! At work, he put a bunch of cute post it notes all around my cube saying he loves me! He is such an amazing husband!! Tonight we’ll continue our day during dinner at a local seafood restaurant! Saturday we have a relaxing couples massage along with dinner & a movie! And, last but not least, Sunday we are visiting an English Creme Goldendoodle puppy breeder (which is two and a half hours away from our home), to play with their current litter and put down a deposit for their upcoming litter!! If you haven’t seen an English Creme Goldendoodle, you should look them up! They are mostly white with very black paws, nose, and mouth! The most adorable puppy ever! =)

Spending time with the love of my life, amazing Valentine’s day plans, AND puppies?! I’m SO excited!!

Of course I wanted to find the perfect outfit for Valentine’s day, so after looking online at a lot of different outfit inspirations and seeing that the temperature here is about 15 degrees. I decided I would not be wearing a dress this year. It’s just too darn cold. So instead, I opted for a casual, yet chic look – where I’ll stay comfortable throughout the day and night. Take a look!
