It’s been well over 60 days with our new non-toxic, gel-matrix mattress! So…has it met all our expectations? Let me take you through a quick review of our Intellibed Tranquiliti mattress after we’ve used it for months! For a more in-depth review, please see my original post here.
OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR NEW MATTRESS:
Non-toxic
This was our most important requirement! I am happy to report that when the Intellibed Tranquiliti mattress was delivered there was NO smell (aka off-gassing) what-so-ever! The only scent that was left behind was the delivery man’s cologne! lol. I even got close to the bed to sniff it, just to be certain, and I couldn’t smell anything! Sleeping on our new mattress, showed the same result – no off-gassing! It was wonderful not having to air out our new mattress at all! We are very impressed!
Support
The gel matrix really works double duty! We love how this bed is soft, yet firm. We never thought we’d have anything like it! We feel it release the pressure from our pressure points – nearly feeling like “zero gravity.” We wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated – not in pain at all!! No more physical therapy appointments are needed – yay!!
Sleeps Cool
I’ve read that Intellibed mattresses keep you “temperature neutral” – meaning you don’t sleep hot or cold. In my opinion, it helps you sleep more on the cooler side. But again, that could be because our old mattress slept hot. I believe the gel matrix really helps with this temperature regulation!
King-Sized
Well, this one is easy – the King-sized bed is perfect for Kevin and me and our pups! We’re so glad we upgraded to the next size!
HOW DID THE MATTRESS DO?
All of our requirements were met and/or exceeded! We highly recommend this mattress! The Intellibed Tranquiliti mattress went beyond our expectations to give us some highly supportive, cool, non-toxic, tranquil sleep! We don’t remember the last time we’ve had such great rest!
